Job Descriptions
Youth Minister (Full-time)
The youth minister’s responsibilities would include Middle School and High School Youth Ministry, partnering with the Coordinator for Middle
School Catechesis and Formation, Confirmation Formation, coordinating service and community activities, and building relationships with families in the parish and community. Applicants must be practicing Catholics with a strong desire to live and share their faith, having a preferred minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in theology or youth ministry or a certificate with related degree experience, such as in education, counseling, or pastoral care. Salary is negotiable, based on experience and education.
Coordinator for Confirmation Formation (Part-time)
The responsibilities of the Coordinator for Confirmation Formation of 9th graders and other high school youth, include recruiting, organizing, and training a team of volunteer adults and peers, planning teen gatherings with prayer, activities, and lessons, and, organizing and leading a retreat.” Applicants must be practicing Catholics with a strong desire to live and share their faith, having a preferred minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in theology or youth ministry or a certificate with related degree experience, such as in education, counseling, or pastoral care. Salary negotiable, based upon experience and education, for this 20-25 hour per week position.
Coordinator of Youth Ministry (Part-time)
The right candidate should be self-motivated, a team player, possess good organizational and interpersonal skills, and be willing to collaborate with other youth ministers.
