The OLPH Community Outreach Committee is sponsoring the 2025 Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. The generosity of parish families has always been great! As a result, we have, on average, collected 225 boxes of food, which have been and will be divided and donated to these different organizations again this year:

St. Veronica Parish
Howard County Salvation Army
Elkridge Food Pantry
Phelps Luck Elementary School
Franciscan Center
OLPH Food Pantry

Based on the clients we assist monthly from our parish pantry, we know that many families in our area and Baltimore City are in need.

• Monetary donations are also appreciated. The weekend of November 8 and 9, please pick up empty boxes in the narthex.
• Filled boxes should be returned to church the following weekend, November 15 and 16.
• To ensure that the boxes are distributed promptly, they MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOON on November 16.

If you cannot fill a box, please consider donating. All monetary contributions are equally split between the organizations. You can place your donation in the envelope marked FHF and place it in the offertory baskets, or you can make an online donation by clicking the donate button below.

All donations are appreciated.
No amount is too small; on average, a filled box of food and check is approximately $50.00.

1 – large box of Instant Potatoes

1 – large stuffing mix (stovetop or another complete mix)

1 – 16 oz can cranberry sauce

4 – 15 oz cans of vegetables

1 – large can of sweet potatoes

3 – 15 oz cans of fruit

2 – envelopes of gravy mix

3 – boxes of macaroni and cheese

1 – powder drink mix or juice concentrate

1 – large can pumpkin pie mix (with spices in the mix, not solid packed)

1 – package pie crust mix (not graham or cookie crust)

1- 12 oz can of evaporated milk

Please attach a check for $25.00 to the outside of each donated box made out to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Tape the bottom of the box.

If there is still space in the box, please add other canned, non-perishable items, such as peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, cereal, soups, etc. If you have additional items to donate that don’t fit in the box, please put them in a separate bag.

ALL BOXES MUST BE TAPED SHUT.
We will not check each box to ensure everything is included or to look for the checks.
