Father Mike Triplett

Archbishop William Lori has appointed Father Mike Triplett as Pastor of St. Stephen in Bradshaw and Holy Spirit in Joppa, effective August 1, 2026. Over seven years as pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, he poured himself into this community with faithfulness, humility, and grace. His steady pastoral presence and his dedicated stewardship of our school have left a lasting mark on this parish. OLPH is richer for his years among us, and St. Stephen and Holy Spirit are blessed to receive him.

Father Mike will celebrate his final Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on August 1, 2026, at 8 am. The parish community is warmly invited to offer prayers and well-wishes as he begins this new chapter of service.

A Warm Welcome

Father Jesse Bolger

Archbishop Lori has appointed Father Jesse Bolger as the next Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Father Jesse will officially begin his ministry at OLPH on Saturday, August 22, 2026 — the Feast of the Queenship of Mary.

Father Jesse was ordained on June 23, 2007, at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen — the same day as Father Mike, a detail that makes this transition feel particularly providential. He comes to OLPH from St. Joseph in Fullerton, where he has served as pastor since 2016, and brings nearly two decades of parish ministry across the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Before ordination, Father Jesse ran his own landscaping business and worked in banking — experiences that shaped a practical, grounded approach to parish life. That same creative spirit carries over into his love of music; he has written and recorded his own album.

Father Jesse is no stranger to the OLPH community. His sister Maggie Padgett is a parishioner at OLPH with her husband, Paul, and their six children. He is committed to prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, daily Rosary walks, and to the belief that the renewal of the Church begins in the family, nourished by the sacraments and the unchanging truths of the faith.

Summer Transition

A Note About the Weeks Between

The OLPH parish staff will remain fully engaged during the three weeks between Father Mike’s departure on August 1 and Father Jesse’s arrival on August 22. Staff will be in close communication with Father Jesse in the weeks leading up to his arrival and will continue to collaborate with Father Mike to ensure a smooth, prayerful handoff of all parish ministries and operations.

The parish community will be well cared for during this season. Prayers for both priests and the transition are warmly welcomed.
