A Gospel of Matthew Scripture Study
Offered Through and at OLPH, with Multiple Small Group Discussion Options
September 27th through November 19th for the 8 Sessions
Along the Sea of Galilee, Jesus sat down with his disciples, trailed by crowds seeking his next miracle, to begin what is famously known as The Sermon on the Mount. Jesus began this series of teachings with what has been called “The Beatitudes,” eight principles that ring familiar of the Psalms and other Old Testament biblical wisdom.

In this study, we’ll take an 8-week pilgrimage to Tabgha, Israel, and Northern Italy to explore these teachings as well as how Francis of Assisi can be our example of a holy and intentional response to God’s word. Each participant will receive a full-color study guide and journal, enriched with music offered by the Vigil Project and audio meditations, as well as access to the free Hagios Study Mobile App for an entire pilgrimage through study, and the opportunity to come together with other OLPH parishioners.
