Meeting Jesus at the Well: From Thirst to Trust

Sister Mary Madeline Todd, O.P., a Dominican Sister of the Congregation of Saint Cecilia, has spent over two decades joyfully sharing the teaching ministry of Christ, serving students in elementary school through college. After completing a Masters’s in Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Sister was blessed to study in Rome, earning her doctorate in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas. Sister Mary Madeline writes on spiritual and moral theology, including contributions to the books Promise and Challenge, Beautiful Mercy, and Pope Francis and the Event of Encounter. Her articles have been published in The Catechetical Review, the National Catholic Register, and Evangelization and Culture. She served at three World Youth Days and has offered retreats and conference talks across the USA, Canada, Italy, and Australia. Sister is a member of the Catholic Women’s Forum and serves on the Board of Directors for the GIVEN Institute. Sister Mary Madeline currently teaches philosophy at Mount de Sales Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, where she finds joy in helping the next generation of young women discover the beauty of who they are in Christ.
