Love is such a powerful experience that when we fall in love, we can’t help but share it with the world! It is why we so joyfully celebrate weddings, birthdays, and life achievements together. Similarly, disciples of Christ find themselves called to tend to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of another in the name of Christ. We are not left on our own for this mission, God has equipped us for this desire to go BEYOND with the necessary talents, passions, and spiritual gifts. The parish is excited to accompany you in discovering your life’s purpose so that you may live your unique life out on a mission for the Lord and serve your brothers and sisters in his name.

Outreach Ministries – SALT, OLPH St. Vincent

SALT and OLPH St. Vincent are dedicated ministries committed to reaching out to our local community to provide resources to those in need.

OLPH St. Vincent meets on the 2nd Monday of every month in the Parish Center and welcomes new members at every meeting.

SALT is a hands-on ministry that puts Jesus’ words into action by serving the hungry and needy of Baltimore City and Howard County through meal preparation and direct, relational service.

Music Ministry

We are always looking for new members to join our Traditional Choir and Children’s Choir. These volunteer choirs are open to all who love to sing—no audition required.

We also welcome singers with a classical or traditional background to serve as cantors at the 11:00 Mass. Children and youth under 18 are especially encouraged to join!

Our contemporary music groups lead worship at Mass and at the monthly Festival of Praise. These auditioned ensembles are especially in need of pianists who can play by ear, chords, or lead sheets for the 4:30, 9:00, and 5:00 Masses.

Please prayerfully consider using your musical gifts to elevate the beauty of the Mass and lead others closer to Jesus through song.

Discipleship Formation – Peer Ministry/Catechist

Help our youngest members and youth get to know Jesus in creative and meaningful ways.

As a High Schooler or Adult, you can make a real impact as a PEER MINISTER for middle schoolers or as an ADULT CATECHIST for elementary students.

PEER MINISTRY: Lead our middle school youth at Sunday IMPACT and assist with Confirmation prep and retreats. If you’ve received the Sacrament of Confirmation and are active in your faith, you’re encouraged to serve as a witness of Christ’s love.

ADULT CATECHIST: You don’t need to be a theologian—just someone who loves God and wants to walk with young disciples. Catechists guide prepared lessons and support families in living out their faith.
