Eucharist

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life as celebrated at Mass.

When we faithfully receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, we grow deeper in communion with God and fellowship with one another.  If you haven’t done so, please join us for Mass and Eucharistic Adoration.

Preparing a Child for First Communion

Our Sacramental Preparation program is designed as a faith journey for children and their parents to take together. Parents are provided with materials to, first, begin preparing their children for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, then, later in the year, to begin preparing their children for their First Holy Communions. To be eligible to begin preparation for Sacraments in the Second Grade, or at age 7 or older, children must have completed one year of Faith Formation.

OLPH parishioners with children desiring to prepare for this Sacrament, please click the button below for additional information, and our Director of Religious Education, Judy Gruel, will be in contact with you.
