“Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15)

An appeal from the Lord for you to BELIEVE in something and someone greater than yourself, to recognize in Jesus the one who can lead you into the fullness of life and happiness.

The Lord himself offers this personal invitation to come to know him. That invitation is a gift which requires our response. We encourage you to respond with a simple first step by attending the OLPH BELIEVE offerings that speak to your heart’s desire to encounter the pure love of God and live a life committed to him.

Mass
The Mass, the celebration of the Eucharist, is the heart of our worship as Catholics. At the Last Supper, Jesus commanded us, “Do this in memory of me.” So from that time on, Catholics have celebrated the Eucharist just as the ancient Scriptures record: through the reading of God’s Word in Scripture and by our sharing in his Body and Blood, the very sacrifice of Christ.
