My role at OLPH: Senior Accountant and Payroll/Benefits Coordinator for the parish and school, here since 2013. OLPH isn’t just where I work — it’s home. A saint or Scripture passage that inspires me: “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another.” –1 Peter 4:10 My favorite place in Howard County: Downtown Ellicott City (after OLPH, of course!) — the history, the shops, and Scittino’s 20″ pizzas. A hidden talent or hobby: People know me as an accountant, but I’m happiest behind a camera — photography, art and design. And…: Married to Steve since 1994, mom to Shannon and Ryan, and a new grandmother to Reid James. We also run Founders Tavern & Grille in Pasadena — busy, and grateful for it. | Meet Our Team

About Roch: A native Marylander hailing from Frostburg, Roch and his wife, Linda, have been married for 33 years and have four adult children and one grandchild. They joined OLPH in 1997. What I love about OLPH: Liturgically, the Easter Triduum: the solemnity of Holy Thursday, the passion of Good Friday, the joy of the Easter Vigil. Socially, Manly Burger Night: a great burger, a cold beer, and time to share our Catholic faith. My favorite place in Howard County: Patapsco State Park, for hiking or fishing. A quote that inspires me: Like many of us, I struggle to live in the present. So, St. Augustine: “Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love, and the future to God’s providence.” | Meet Our Team

My role at OLPH: I am beginning my second year as Director of Faith Formation, where I’ve had the joy of walking with hundreds of families as we grow closer to Christ. My favorite feast day: My favorite feast day is July 22nd, the Feast of Mary Magdalene. Considered the “Apostle to the Apostles,” it was she who Jesus chose to first receive the good news of his resurrection and subsequently shared it with the others who were in hiding. My favorite place in Howard County: Walking through Old Ellicott City with my wife and the restful grounds of the Shrine of St. Anthony. A hidden talent or hobby: I’m a classically trained percussionist and music educator who loves jazz and classical music. | Meet Our Team
